Tornado Office Supplies, Moving to Arkansas? Nationwide

I received a phone call from a very, friendly scam artist today. Ok, at first I didnt' realize she was a scam artist becuase she had a lot of convincing detail to her story.

Long story short, it was the same spiel I've read in these postings over and over again. The company was moving so they were liquidating their office supplies, the quoted prices were very good. I did a little comparison on our current vendor's site and ordered only the office pads.

After I hung up, I realized I forgot to get write down the caller's name, and the address/phone number of the company. So I googled them. Imagine my reaction when I saw multiple entries on Rip-Off.com for this company under about four different names.

I read a few postings and realized I had most definitely fallen victim to the same scam artists. I found a phone number under one of the postings and called it. Of course I went directly to voice mail, so I left a message identifying myself by name and company. I told them not to ship the items and that if they did I would refuse shipment. I didn't tell them I now realized it was a scam. I'll save that information in case they actually ship the items. Now that I know the other company names, I know to refuse shipments from any of them, proably from any company I don't recognize.

Tornado didn't charge me up front, said the invoice would be due in net 30, so I don't owe them anything but a piece of my mind at this point.
