Transam Associates Ripped me off and wasted my precious time! Valrico Florida

I got involved with this 'company' about four or five months ago. I had my second son almost two years ago and wanted to contribute financially to the household and still raise my kids. Plus, child care is just so expensive!

Anyway, I completed a transcription course through a reputible company and passed with a 98. I then started 'training' with these people. Now let me mention, in the Standardization Manual they encourage you to download to 'help' you with training, it states that punctuation errors (especially commas) will not count against you unless the errors are excessive. Thus far, I've gotten the terminology and medication names correct, but I keep failing the tests because I put an extra comma in a sentence.

Yesterday, I got back my fourth test (which I 'almost' passed) and noticed some of the terms had been counted as incorrect. So I pulled out my medical dictionary and checked them. I also listened to the file again, just to be sure. Shouldn't have missed them.

I then sent the 'graded' test to my father, who is a doctor, who in turn sent it to HIS transcriptionist. Should have passed. She couldn't understand why I failed.

All that being said, I've noticed Transam seems to have 'posted' an individual who is quick with the rebuttals. Let me just say to this person, Michael or whoever, you can criticize my ability to 'learn' the material, you can explain how you need to differentiate who is capable and who is not of doing this work, you can cover your butt however you need to.

But here's what I think. I think you people have no work to provide and it scares the hell out of you when someone even comes close to obtaining 'live work'. And I will be getting my money back 'no refund' policy or not.

This has been an eye-opening experience, and I will not be quite to trusting (gullible?) in the future. Thank you for your time.
