On or about tuesday, Dec 17, I contacted Transunion by their Internet phone number to add an explanation to an adverse report by a bank during the Florida Housing collapse starting in 2007.

The representative on the phone arount 8:00 PM EST, who in my sole opinion sounded drunk or high, Note: I've heard that slurred kind of phone voice many times before and consider my opinion valid. I informed him that I wished to make a short comment requarding my dispute and he insisted that I give him my credit card number or he would not do it. After my surprised resistance, he said thats nessesary to add a comment (which is untrue) and I could cancel within 30 days.

Really wanting to add my explanation, I finally agreed to supply my number. He inputed the comment. On Friday, Dec. 20, I called India to cancel my subscription. I could barely communicate with this rep due to language difficulties. The gist of it was she pretended she didn't know I wanted to cacel the monthly charge though I repeated it slowly several times. Finally after multiple attempts to emphasise this , she agreed and said that Trans Union would send me a letter in 7 to 10 days.

I also reported to her the incident on Dec. 17 and wished to make a complaint to management. She asked me if I had a name or number. I explained to her that the rep wouldn't supply this information, but it would be easy to verify who it was that signed me up. She agreed this was possible. She said she would file a report. We''ll see. Demanding a credit card # to add a comment to an adverse report is in my sole opinion, Blackmail and unethical and certainly against co. Policy.
