Tri-State Basement Systems Scott Anderson, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF! barre, Vermont

A friend, J.D. Green, who is a very popular radio announcer on 100.9 radio station in Barre Vermont. (FROGGY) Hired Tri-State to help in when his basement flooded. This was a emergency situation. The basement was flooded and they had just moved into the house. Tri-State not only couldn't of cared less that they were in a emergency but were rude from the start. After several days of not showing up, they finally showed up. Tristate came and installed a sigle sump pump and ran the outlet out of the house. Since we were in a crises they totally took advantage of the situation and charged over $2,000 for just a single sump pump. They left the pvc pipe on top of the ground outside and told me that they had to come back when the ground thawed more. Well, needless to say after the ground thawed, they never came back. We called the owner Scott Anderson, and what a THUG! He was belligerent to us over the phone. We told him that we were told the pipe was suppose to be buried as part of the price and he started screaming and swearing at us! I have never heard such language and unrefined stupidity towards a customer in my life!

We finally called another competing Basement company, (((competitor's name redacted))) to come and finish the project. The owner himself, David ***, came to the home but installed some additional drainage. (((redacted))) did way more than we expected and fixed several of TriStates mistakes at no charge.
I strongly reccomend that you do NOT hire TriState Basements to do any work on your basement. The owner is the rudest and most belligerent angry man. It's no mystery that there are so many people who have had problems. I am greatful that I found a person Like David *** to fix the mess they made.
