TRIAD had my loan and its been paid in full 12 years ago. Tried to sell my car and DMV told me about lien.

Found Santander and paid 50.00 to have title sent to me. They couldnt find it?? I have no idea who to contact now?? Its been paid in full 12 YEARS and have buyer but cant sell my car. This is insane
