Refusal to refund because I contacted 1 day after 14-day trial I was not aware I agreed to. Clicked on a Facebook ad, throughout order I looked to ensure I was not agreeing to any type of deal where I'd be charged more money at a later date. It was never made clear during order process, and not informed in any subsequent emails from the company or product packaging that I was required to, or even how to contact them within a 14-day period, nor how much I would be charged if I didn't. When my account was charged $69.95 and $79.95 on the 14th day, I contacted the company via email. Informed that I was not aware I needed to contact them, told them the charges were fraudulent and I was willing to return the product, but I was NOT accepting that they were charging me that money.

They called me the next day, the representative promptly started talking down to me and explaining to me that the charges were not fraudulent and I did know about the trial, etc. He kept saying there was some box on the order I checked, but I have no knowledge of that, nor of the 14 days or the amount I would be charged after. At one point it even began to feel threatening, as he was saying, we have you IP address, we have all the tracking numbers that you received the product (never argued that), we have this and that - you have no recourse against us. He offered a meager 35% refund. After being berated by him some more and told that I had no recourse but to accept what they were willing to give me, I continued to argue and they agreed to 50%. That is not acceptable. Regardless of his assertion I was informed, I was not. So in a sense he is calling me a liar. I even offered to return the product and they refused. I asked for their mailing address multiple times during the call, he refused and questioned me about why I wanted it. Because, I will pursue this in another way. He was very defensive about that and never gave me their address. He even said at one point, I am contacting you on my personal time to try to resolve your issue. What? Seriously? You're contacting me because I reported you to my bank!

I accepted the 50%, but I want it known that this company scams their customers and treats them like dirt when they are challenged. And I have reported them to the FTC and Better Business Bureau. So even if I don't get the remaining money I am owed, I'll keep them tied up in so many complaints it will cost them more than if they just gave me what they stole from my account!
