Trugreen Poor Performance, Lousy customer service, never respond, BEWARE Macomb Twp Michigan

I had a new lawn put in - in the spring in the new house we had built. Several weeks later we called Trugreen to initate fertilizer and weed control. Thats when our problems started.

After they sprayed our lawn started turning yellow. It took several calls to get someone out and they gave us the brushoff. I finally talked to the Operations Manager and he asked if we told them we had new sod put in - like it was my fault. I said I am sure we did - in fact on the field report the technician noted it was new sod.

After over watering the yard I finally got it into decent shape again - then they sprayed the second application. Afterword, I started noticing a lot of weeds and crab grass coming up. So I called and got the same song and dance - they will send someone out within 48 hours. 48 hours later and non one came out, so I called and they said it was 48 hours from when their service tech got the message , not from when I called. So I waited another day and still no service call. I called again and they said they would make a bog note for the tech to come out. He finally came out, said he sprayed some weed control, but still no more improvement. So I started the process over again this week, calls, promises to come out, still no service.

I even called their corporate office and got the run around and left a few messages, but no returned phone calls. I cancelled the service today and requested a refund. I am going with another company.

What I have learned from all this - BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. They are huge and do not care about their customers. They own several companies including Molly Maids and several other service type companies such as home inspections, furntiture, and home repairs.

I believe they care very little about each customer by evidence of how hard it is to get a response. If you are looking for fertilizer, try a different company. If you are using trugreen - good luck if you ever have a problem - you will see how little they care about you. Hope this helps some consumers.
