Turtleshack Turtlesale(apparently the business) Internet SCAM-TURTLESHACK.COM/TURTLESALE.COM-TURTLE SALES Internet

A friend & I ordered 4 baby red earred slider turtles from Turtleshack.com for $9.95 plus $36.95 next day air delivery.  I paid $76.85 & the next day I emailed Turtleshack to see exactly when our order was going to arrive.  I recieved an email back and this is what it said:

 Unfortunately, Next Day Air service, in no way implies that it is a next
day shipment. When processing live animal orders certain precautions must be
taken to ensure the safe arrival of the animals. Nevertheless, processing
the order for shipment can take a little time. The Next Day Air service
method merely means that once your order is shipped out it will not spend
more than 24 hours in transit. Our records indicate that you selected Red
Ear Slider Turtles on your order. However, the state of Oregon prohibits
your ability to posses this species. Instead the only species that you are
allowed to posses is the Western Painted Turtle. You had requested 4
turtles. However, the Western Painted is a little more expensive than the
previously requested Red Eared Slider. In order to receive 4 Western Painted
Turtles you will be required to either pay the difference or change the
number requested. Please let me know how you wish to proceed.

So I emailed them back and told them I wanted to cancell my order.  I also called them, only to get a answering machine.  I left my # & name & again stated to cancell my order. Noone returned my call or email.  The following day a UPS truck arrived at my door.  I told him that I had cancelled that order and I wondered what was actually in the box.  I emailed them yet again & still no reply.  Still only a answering machine when I call.  After a little investigating, I found out that Turtleshack.com & Turtlesale.com are the same place.  I saw bad reviews for turtlesale.com & thats why I chose turtleshack.com.  I still have had no return anything from them & They haven't given me back my $76.85.  So beware, of these company's they will scam you.
