UKI Communications rip-off Nationwide

We took the service with UKI after being promised l4 cents a minute on all long distance calls and a check for $100.00

After the first 90 days, we started calling to find out about the check we were supposed to receive. They repeatedly told us that the check was ready to be mailed.

In the meantime, they continued to charge us 21cents per minute for long distance and the charges were outrageous. there were always charges on our bill that we could not identify.

At times, we called and were told that the check had been sent. When we asked about our service, we were always told that the supervisor was not there at the moment, but that they would call us right back. Needless to say, they do not call back, because they are con artists.

Now, after almost 2 years, they tell us that they do not write checks at all. These are the same people who have been assuring us that our check is in the mail for months.

They have ripped us off every month with charges, high rates and calls that we did not make. You cannot talk to these people, because when you call, they put you on hold. After 30 minutes, most people give up and I believe that is what they count on.

It has been a very hard lesson to learn, because we believed these people and in good faith paid their fees. We are filing a complaint with the attorney general in our state. That may not do any good either, however I would like to get their name out there so that there will be no one doing business with them.
