UNIM - NGC - PBNext - Innovative Merchant Group Complete rip-off. Don't waste your time and money!!

My mother and I j attended an NGC - National Grants Conference - Seminar on Sunday, April 10. The NGC speakers claim to help consumers with submitting grants for the mere "Special Discount" price of $999, if you purchase your packet at the conference, if not the price goes up to $1299.99. I'm overjoyed that we didn't get involved in that scheme and lose $1000+. Why do I need someone to go through and review my grant apps. if people have been getting grants on their own for years.

They're adding a bill to collection of bills, not really helping me out! Anyway, afterwards, Trent Ellison from UNIM, LLC. offered everyone the chance to purchase a $20 CD with a customizable website on it to be used to make money online, preferrably throught Internet auctions. So we bought it, its only $20 bucks right?

WRONG!!!! What he failed to mention as we purchased the website is that once you purchase the disk, you HAVE to sign up for the follow-up 'Training Seminar' on how to 'Maximize Your Business' Presence Online,' sounds good doesn't it? So then we pay the $197.00. plus local 9% taxes to go to the workshop. Ok, this isn't so bad if we'll soon see a return on our money.

We get to the workshop and the speaker, Michael Bell, is late! Everyone in the room has paid $200+ and the guy is late. Once he arrives, Michael goes through a long list of things you'll need for yor website. You'll need a Domain Name, a Merchant Account, you gotta register with all the major search engines, you'll need a PBNext 800# (toll-free calls with all the cost to you) for $29.99, you'll need to pay the UNIM $29.99 a month fee, and the list goes on and on.

Needless to say my mother and I promptly got up and walked out of there $220 lost, but a whole lot wiser. I feel sorry for the people who actually stayed, not seeing the trend of forever money out of pocket with none ever to come in to your pocket. I just wish I'd done my research before wasting my time, money, gas, effort, and energy even attending those conferences. If only I'd known about
