Unique Insurance Company No response on claim Chicago Illinois

On Sep. 14th 2014 around 2:30am, I backed out of my parking space of my apartment in Troy AL and I was in the roadway already. Then somebody hit me from behind. When I step out of my car and noticed the rear part was totally damaged including the rear axle even the roof was bending. The driver who hits me was under severely influence of alcohol and didn't even realize he hit me. I was taken to emergency for neck pain. Police issued crash report stated the drunk driver was at fault. I then filed the claim to Unique Insurance Company but had no response at all. I called their Claim department every week but they never picked up the phone or put me in endless waiting. I tried every method that I could find to get in touch with them but no luck untill I had to hire an attorney. With his help I could only find out who is my adjustor. But this adjustor never picked up my phone as well nor contacted me. My attorney could not get in touch with the company side neither even though we had filed a proper law suit. It has been 9 months since the accident but we had zero response from this company.

My car is still on financing so I am still paying for a car that was totaled 9 months ago.
