United Air Comfort, Inc. Claimed to clean out visibly filthy HVAC ducts, but was SCAMED. Forest Park Georgia

After responding to an $49.95 airduct cleaning advertisment, several weeks later two young men showed up to do the job. Before they started I asked them how they would clean our systems. They gave me a spill and it sounded fishy to me.

I was not satisfied and called his boss (Jimmie). He made it sound better to me and told me the guys were new (1 week) and would explain it to them again over the phone.

After they took every vent cover off and started the negitive air machine, I saw absolutly nothing coming out of the blower. I was expecting to see flithy dust blowing out. Nothing came out; I even put a clean sheet of white paper in front of the machine and it was white glove clean. I told the guys to wrap it up only after a 1/3 of the house was done. One of the guys told me he felt very bad and felt it was a scam.

I called Jimmie and he tried to make excuses and told me that I would not see anything coming out. His words were that the dust was microscopic after it went through the negitive air machine and I would not be able to see it. This was a bunch of BULL. The house is 10 years old and never had a duct cleaning. When the returns were taken off they were filthly.

I hope this man or company gets what they deserve. Jail time and ordered to pay back all those they have scamed.
