I placed my for sale ad on craigslist. A day later got a call from United Car Exchange. I refused services. They called me everyday for a week. I finally gave in to their sales pitch. They promised to sell my car within 90 days and that if the car didn't sell I would receive a full refund of $199. They told me it's possible they could sell my car for more than what I was asking. Also told me that they work with private parties who buy cars and donate the cars to needy people.
I agreed, paid my $199 and never heard from them again. Also, the Rep did not elaborate on the rules for receiving your refund. I have been trying to get my refund, have sent numerous emails and have received no response. When they want your money, they are relentless in calls. But when you want your money back, no one is interested in talking to you or helping you. This company should be shut down!

NO PAPER WORK PRIOR TO PAYING

I did agree to their services of selling my car in 90 days via advertising on multiple sites and that I would be receiving lots of calls because of the exposure. AND, they have private investors/buyers that buy vehicles to donate to the needy. I was reassured that I would receive a full refund if my car did not sell in 90 days. I did not receive any paper work prior to signing which I asked for and was told that the information would be emailed to me.

"I finally gave in to their sales pitch." That's exactly what you said. YOU agreed to their "service". Did you receive any paperwork for you to READ before you paid? What does that paperwork say about refunds?
