United Financial has been totally disapointing and frustrating.  From what I can tell by my research on the web at some point they may have been a good debit management agency, I believe they were established in 1995, but it appears that aproximately one to two years ago something must have gone wrong.  The one positive review that I saw came from someone that had been with the program for several years and their debit was paid off and they were happy.  However it has been my experience and the experience of my co worker that introduced me to the program that we have had the same difficulties that the majority have complained about.  The payments have been late or not received by our creditors we have been dropped from the program by several of our creditors by no fault of our own, same as others our payments to ufs debited from our accounts regularly but not made in timely fasion to our creditors.  My debit amount to ufs is over $1000.00 per month so this is no small issue for me.  I did accumulate my debt and was trying to be resposible to repay it with assistance and advice.  But now my credit is worse than it has ever been with no help from ufs in sight.  My co worker cancelled her contract with ufs filed a complaint with the BBB and is waiting for a response and refund hopefully for unpaid payments, fortunatly for her she had much smaller debt and will be able to adjust.  As for me I am in the process of trying to cancel my contract with them figure out how much is owed to me for unpaid payments and possibly try to file bankruptcy at this point after two years of trying to work with ufs to repay my debit I am worse off than I was in the first place.  I do not feel is is just a coincedence that this happened to two people that work in the same office my co worker had a good experience with them in the beginning she entered the program 3 years ago I entered 2 years ago and our troubles began within 2 months of each other right around june july and august of 09.  It really would be nice if ufs would just come clean and tell their customers what happened and do their best to try to rectify it, I guess that is just too much to ask.
