United law group (ULG) $2700.00 from me a single mother of a handicapped child and almost caused my home to go into foreclosure. After 5 months with ULG I received a summons for foreclosure.

They did not submit any paperwork to my mortgage company until Oct 2009 5 months after I hired them. They never returned my calls. I was notr allowed to speak with my negotiator.

I was told not call my lender and the RESPA law protected me from foreclosure. I was told this over and over. A local attorney advised me that is not true, it only applys to brankrupcy and forclosure and that each state has it's own foreclosure laws and in NJ my foreclosure will go through.

ULG told me before I hired them that they would stop and foreclosure because it was against the law to foreclose when in negotiation for modification, but when I called about the summons they said that I had to take care of that myself, or hire one of their lawyers for 399.00 an hr.

I called my lender and they did a workout package with me over the phone for Obama's home affordable act. They stopped foreclosure procedures and lowered my mortgage by 500.00. I have a three month trial period and hopefully I will then be granted a new mortgage. No thanks to ULG.

Please anybody reading this call your lender and ask for help. I am trying to get my money back from ULG and praying that somebody can help all of us get our money back
