United Publishers Of America ripoff Atlanta Georgia

I received a phone call (1/03) in the evening, asking if I had wanted some magazines delivered to my home. They said it would cost$24, but the next morning I cancelled. They claimed later, that it was 6 days later.

They began to send me The Week magazines, which I didn't order anything. They were suppose to send me a list to choose from. It came 2 months later. They never sent any other magazine. I gathered these magazines and sent them back at my expense, from my post office. I called them to tell them once again not to send any more magazine. Then they stopped, but continued to send me a bill for $777.00.

At the time I was living at 10521 S. Oglesby,apt. 81. Now they have began sending these same magazines to my new address. I have called these people to try to resolve this problem, but they are very rude. They say I owe them this money and there is nothing I can do or they can do.

They told me to take them to court and hung up on 6/15/04. They also, stated that they turned it over to a collection agency.

I would appreciate any help from you, because it has been too long without being resolved
