Buyers beware. They ripped me off and they will rip you off too. I hired Dean Drouin of United Tax Group in April, 2010. They promised they would prepare all of my outstanding federal and state tax returns. They also promised they would settle all other outstanding issues including settlements with the state of New Jersey and IRS.
No services of any kind were ever provided. The only time I heard from United Tax Group and Dean Drouin was when he wanted to collect additional fees from me. I paid this company $3,000 of a $7,000 fee and received no services of any kind in return.
When I would call asking for an update to my case all I was told is that I needed to send them more money and they would then consider working on my tax problems.
I finally contacted an attorney in my area who prepared all of the paperwork needed for a fraction of the fee United Tax Group charged me. Dean Drouin no longer even returns my phone calls.
After much effort this company returned $2,000 and admitted that no work was done on my case. I have requested they return the balance owed me and have received no response to my request.
This company ripped me off and they will rip you off too. Avoid them like the plague. To admit to not providing any services of any kind and then refusing to return hard earned money paid to them for their promises is nothing less than theft, pure and simple.

Recently, I became aware of our companys first and only write up on a website called Ripoff Report This was supposedly written by a client of mine named Manuel Vieira. I was extremely confused knowingManuel Vieira has become a personal friend of mine since he became a client.Obviously I was concerned so I reached out to him to find out what was going on. When I asked Manuel about the complaint written on ripoffreport.com, he was just as confused as I was.He did NOT write the negative review and was very upset that someone used his name to slander our company.
Manuel took it upon himself to draw up a notarized letter stating that he did not write the report and is extremely satisfied with my company and the services we provided him. In fact he has sent our firm multiple referrals.
