Trust me when I tell you that everything said in any of the ripoff reports published so far about Universal Talent of Wayne, NJ is absolutely, positively true!

I too, was a victim of their (Jimmy & John) scam a couple of years ago. John was the quieter-but equally untrustworthy-of the two, regarding the use of his & Jimmy's high-pressured sales tactics.

Jimmy was the "muscle"-end. He could-and often did-get pretty mean & nasty when things didn't go his way. Add to that, was their very charming "Acting Teacher"-the only one on their staff-who happened to be (a now former) friend of mine, named Glenn Vincent.

I had known Glenn Vincent for over 40 years, and here he was today; the aforementioned "charming Acting Teacher", employed by Universal Talent of Wayne, NJ.

Mr. Vincent didn't even have the courtesy of telling me (if for no other reason, than our being "old friends") that Universal Talent of Wayne, NJ was just a scam.

It was the first and only time I was ever "scammed-out of a friendship"; well, enough said about these three very different, but character & integrity-challenged low-lifes named Jimmy, John & Glenn.

The loss of the money I laid-out on this scam has more than since been replaced; I eventually was able to join the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), where I got paid some good and honest Union wages. They didn't take any "commission" for it either, and after taxes it was all mine to keep.

With that said, what iwould my advice be to any serious, aspiring Actor? It's this.... do your homework and research first before spending even one Penny, don't trust anyone but yourself, and don't ever let anyone disuade you from your dream.

Most especially, don't even trust anyone that you've known for many years, as they can screw you just as easily as a total stranger can. I now know that all to well.

Best of luck & success to all, & thank God for websites like this!

Universal Talent Agency-Epilogue, With An Apology To Glenn Vincent

AUTHOR: Age & Wisdom - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, April 03, 2010

A little over a year ago, I was taken to Court by Jimmy & John over my complaint about them, Universal Talent Agency of Wayne, NJ et al.  While I cannot discuss what transpired with the Court-appointed Mediator (whom we all opted for, in lieu of a Judge), I can say that it was ultimately a personal victory for me.

For the record, I DO want to clarify one point, ref. what I'd originally mentioned about U.T.'s Acting Teacher, Mr. Glenn Vincent.  I actually ran into him earlier today, having not seen him in a few years.  To my surprise-given what I'd said about him-he was very nice to me.

He was however, also a bit upset-and as an old friend, pretty much hurt-by how I'd described him in my original complaint about Jimmy & John of Universal Talent in Wayne, NJ.  I told him that I WAS THE ONE who was upset (at the time), too; upset that he didn't tell me about what was going on.

Glenn explained to me that he was basically out of the loop on the day-to-day goings on at Universal Talent;  he taught Acting, period; he stayed out of the business end of it, and that was it.  In fact, he was no longer even working there.

I related back to Glenn that at the time/in retrospect, that I was most likely-and unfairly-directing some of the anger I'd had with Jimmy & John, towards him (Glenn).  I was wrong to do that.  I apologized to Glenn for this, we shook hands, & that was the end of it.

The reason that I'm using this public venue to apologize to Glenn is NOT because he had insisted, or even asked that I do so.  Neither was the case.  In fact, I WAS THE ONE suggested to him/asked him if I could do it; as a way of saying I was sorry for the personal and professional hurt I had caused him.

He was very touched by my request, and though he'd said that it really wasn't necessary to do so, I wanted to do it anyway.  He agreed, and here it is.

universal talent is a terrific agancy to work with...ronnie must have had old gripe with his former friend, glenn vincent... obviously the reason that glenn did not tell ronnie boy about universal being a scam is that universal is NOT A SCAM!!!! NO WAY NO HOW......but i will tell u that they have very strict rules about showing up on the set, and showing up on time....ronnie boy was very unreliable and his words r very untrue.....don't let him and his untrue comments stand in the way of ur dreams...he is probably an old a bitter man u waited to long to realize his dreams!!
