US Benefits pre approved credit card fraud Champlaign New York

I hope you were able to read this before you gave away your checking account number to these crooks. First, I have bad credit. No company will give me credit and with good reason. I am on the verge of bankruptcy.

So I get a phone call today from US Benefits and guess what, I am approved for a 0% interest credit card with a $10,000 limit. Only, I haven't applied for a card in a long time, over a year. So right away I am suspicious. If I did apply recently, I would be hooked.

Anyway, they say for around $300 I get the card, a travel savings service, a 10,000 minute phone card, a cell phone and a direct tv system.

Then they want to post date some checks so I can pay for the $300 fee. When I ask for the customer service number so I can call back with the checking account number they transfer me to another woman who tries to close me even harder.

I tell her that I want to check out the company before I give her my financial information and she tells me she can answer any questions I may have. Then I tell her I want to search her company on the Internet to make sure they are legit and she goes into a tirade telling me how they are offering me a great deal and I am lucky to get it because I am the one who can't get any credit. So I know it is a scam, because no business treats potential customers like that and I tell her I am going to check out her company on Ripoff Report and she hangs up.

I can't believe after reading the reports on this site about US Benefits that they can still be in business.
Don't fall for this trap, always ask for the phone number and name and check them out on Ripoff Report before you buy anything.
