US Cash Advance Daniel or Alex threatened law suit and jail time if not payed $900.00 original call i took the man got very nasty not sure Select State/Province

 I was contacted this morning by a man with a very Anglo name speaking with a very strong accent and he was quite hard to understand at times. He told me that I owed $900.00 for a Cash loan I didn't remember getting or receiving and that they had tried to take a payment out from my bank. He said that because of this I needed to come up with the $900.00 cash right now and what were my intentions. I told him I did not have that much money right now. That's when he started threatening me, saying he was contacting my local authorities and they would be to my house to arrest me in the next 24hrs.

He said if I couldn't come up with the money there could be up to a $25,000.00 fine and up to two years imprisonment for fraudulent activities. I told him toward the end of the call that this was being recorded and then he told me "f**k you" and then said "Forget you" before hanging up on me. He called back again a little later and my co-worker took the call and wrote down the information he gave him to have me call back.

He then called a third time and my co-worker told him he gave me the message, and I would give him a call when I got a free moment as I was busy working, which Daniel or whatever his name was said he was just trying to do his job. My co-worker call our Police and asked him about the harassment and asked the Police chief to call them back and let them know this fact. I stewed about it all day at work, and called back when I finished the day. The first guy I talked to didn't know why I called until I gave him my name again, then he transferred me to his supervisor, another guy with an very Anglo name and Indian accent which started the threatening all over again, but told me he would put my case on hold until tomorrow morning, so I had time to try to raise the money.
