The company rescinds rewards points which would have accelerated date of eligibility for a device upgrade.

I recently responded to an email regarding a new version of a specialty phone. When I tried to place an order online, the company sent me around in circles. When I approached the company to order the upgrade, I was given an upgrade eligibility date of six months later than that previously credited to my account.

I later discovered, through the website of Apple Computer, that U.S. Cellular is no longer among the companies offering this specialty phone.
