1st how do you "ended up hitting a gaurd rail" and "no damage was done to the truck"??
just don't see how you could do that.

2nd within 2 weeks after you had the accident you got a letter from safety saying it was "preventable" did you fight it? or did you just say "who cares i quit anyway"?

if you didn't fight it and "i was told to go to the hospital by EMT s to get my hand checked as i had sprained it" then THAY would be right in saying it was "a preventable accident with injury"

you didn't fight the preventable and you did have an injury right.!

not saying it is right but if you don't cover YOUR a$$ by doing things the right way THEN why are YOU mad NOW?

Before you can dispute anything or add a statement, you need to have a current copy of your report.

You can get one free report per year or whenever you have been denied employment because of the report. You will need the report number to do a dispute and add a statement.

Make a copy of your driver's license and social security card when making your request in writing for your report. Be sure to tell them you have been denied employment based on the contents of the DAC report.

DAC/USIS is bound by the same federal laws that the credit reporting agencies must follow, and you have the same right to dispute and add your 100 word or less statement to your file.

You also have the right to demand copies of all communications used in the investigation of your dispute.

This is all spelled out in the FCRA.

Be sure to stay off the phone. Do everything by certified mail, return reciept requested. Be sure to always put the certified# on the letter itself and keep a copy for your records. This step is very important.

You have a right to sue for inaccurate information being placed on or kept on your report. You can sue both parties in small claims court for up to $1000 in punitive damages and actual costs as well as actual losses.

DAC/USIS is an arrogant bunch of lowlife, and they have a seriously flawed system.

I would sue them today.
