poor customer service, bad oder hotel. I'm military and I travel alot and have stayed in alot of hotels I have to say that this has been my worst stay ever at Value Place. I paid $379.93 for a week i expect more. I get no service, you only get 2 towels, 2 face cloth, one role of towllet paper, and no soap. when the sun comes up you get up the blides are a waste of time. You have to pay to use the phone even if its a local call, no kitcten ware, and thats unusual for an extended stay. My 11 year old son went down stairs to fronk desk to ask for new towels and facecloth they didn't have any and then he asked for trash bags they told him to go buy some how rude is that. I work customer service and this is no way to treat your guest. I was going to check out early but wouldn't recive any of my funds back. My advice to my fellow brothers and sisters in uniform and future guest stay away its not worth it, they get your money and you get no service and rude staff.

#2 General Comment
Per the Occupancy Agreement YOU signed

If you would have read the Occupancy Agreement you signed when you checked into the Value Place it clearly states that the hotel will give you the start up supply's for your stay then it is up to you to buy the rest. And as your complaint states you must have not been a good guest anyway because it also clearly states that the minor child can not go to the front office alone to pick up anything. That is stated in the rules section of any Value Place I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at many of them. Its simple my friend, The company is a hotel chain set up for the people who are looking for a place to stay without having to pay for extra things like a pool and a mini bar. You pay the basic rate for the basic room. Set down and do the math. Ok I will do it for you. At the Value Place you pay a weekly or a monthly low rate. My last rate I payed was $310.78 for a week. If you break that down to a nightly rate it comes out to about $30 to $35 a night. For that price I am getting a room with cooking space a full size refrigerator, microwave, Full size bed, cable tv, free parking, fresh sheets and towels whenever I need them and best of all I can check out when I want too. If i dont want to leave I just pay another weeks rent. Now compare that to the nightly rate at an other hotel and see whats the better deal.

In response to the cost of the hotel, you only paid $279.93 for a 7 day stay in a double SMOKING room, $100.00 is a refundable deposit that is required upon check in.
Yes, only 2 towels, 2 wash rags & a bath mat are provided but if you have the linen service, you can exchange them for clean & request more. Yes, there was an oversight & the soap was not placed in your room, we had no problem getting some for you but you decided to decline it.
While I appreciate your feed back, I have to wonder how come you EXTENDED your stay with us after your week was up?
