These people nickel and dime you. a 199/week room ends up costing you 330+ dollars a week after they tack on all their extra fees.(that includes the 100 dollar deposit, that they will find an excuse to keep!) And they rush you through the process so quickly you wont have time to even think. The night shift manager is NEVER available, he's busy hanging out in his upstairs quarters giving out bl*wjobs to every f*gget that answers his advertisement on craigslist.
Also you should know that they also required that you DO NOT FORGET to give them 24 hours notice before leaving, otherwise they take more money from you.
The nightshift also has nothing better to do than run everybody's identification and plate #'s through a police database looking for criminals. The security guy is a wannabe cop and calls the cops on anyone he suspects is wanted after he runs their background check. This is also one of the reasons they ask you a million personal questions when you check in.
And for all of you in colorado that have any association with marijuana, i recommend you stay clear away from these lousy bastards. When i checked in they asked me many personal questions, one being "what kind of work do you do" And being a licensed grower, I simply stated i was a licensed grower of marijuana. (read more to see the tie-in)
About 12 hours before i left, i turned in my notice to vacate so i wouldn't take it up the a*s on their charges. I stated that there was no nightlight, no blackout blinds, no working television, a dirty toilette seat and thick dust coating surfaces in the shower.(they ask for your input, as if they give a sh*t)
So after turning in the notice after work, round 4pm, i changed clothes and i go meet up with some friends for friday evening. I get back around 11pm, and my card does not work in my room. So i hit up the house phone and call security, he takes 5 minutes to wake up from his sleep all groggy, makes me wait, and this rude a** gay manager comes down all pissed off and starts yelling at me and talking down to me stating that somebody supposedly smelled marijuana coming from my room around 10pm, and they entered my room after no response. They then went through all my personal belongings, and took pictures of my stuff. He refused to allow me back into my room for the remaining 8 hours that i would be there, and refused to allow me access to collect my personal belongings. So i had to call the police. freezing my a** off in -30 degree weather, i waited.
When i officer finally arrived we had a polite conversation about what happened, and he escorted me to my room where i took my personal belongings and left.
While i was doing so the rent-a-cop working for value-place made a point to tell the cop that he had pictures of my identification, and he found a bottle of little white pills and something that looked like marijuana that he also had a picture of. The cop ignored him and could care less because theres nothing illegal about having a doctors prescription. "WTF" right? By the way, neither me or the cop, could smell ANY marijuana coming from my room.
Here's the kicker guys. They knew i worked in a marijuana production facility, which means i probably come home smelling like pot. I NEVER smoked pot in the room. I had been out of the building for at least 6 hours. AND i highly doubt they have any professional training on the "smell" of pot. The f*gget night manager INVENTED the story about someone smelling pot coming from "my room" so he could evict me and STEAL MY DEPOSIT. Reason? because about 7 hours before hand i turned in my notice and customer service survey that apparently called him out on the poor quality condition of my room. They also Charge a $1.00 for a semi-cold "CAN" of soda.
So yeah my 1 week room there, cost me 330+ dollars. AND i had to sleep in my f*ckin car that night in -30 degree weather after hanging out with my friends on friday night.
So word of the wise:
1) Do not stay here.
2) If you give them a bad review, plan on getting evicted.
3) Plan on tripping and loosing a tooth when you wake up at night to take a piss because there are no night-lights.
4) Plan on not getting any sleep because the woman above you has ten kids jumping on the bed.
5) Plan on not getting any sleep because there are no blackout blinds.
6) Plan on being inconvenienced because the television does not work.
7) DO go to a nice hotel for the same price at I70 & Quebec called studio suites for a cheaper price per month, and its a HELL OF A LOT NICER than this dump in aurora. I get bed and breakfast there and everything is pimped out, and its not out of my way.
These statements are based on my personal experience and perspective! Don't say i did not warn you if you stay here! And please do include me in the class action lawsuit when it comes to fruition. thanks!

And heres there own statement...
At Every LocationNo matter which Value Place you go to, there are a few things you can count on at every locationa truly affordable weekly rate and an astonishingly clean room with a full kitchen. All in a more secure environment than youll find at any other extended stay hotel or motel. How can we make this promise to our guests? By keeping things simple. And because were flexible to your needs, you wont find extras padded into our pricing. Instead, you get to pick and choose from the optional add-ons we offer. At Value Place, you get all the convenience of a hotel and all the essentials of a fully furnished apartmentevery time, at every location.
Quite a contradiction if you ask me. The only thing missing is the "glory hole" in their bathroom!
Also people should note that this is a "weekly" hotel hence the "weekly" rate. Im sure no deposits are refunded if you check out early. But it doesnt look like deposits are returned anyway.
Thanks for shining some light on this hellhole.

First of all, I would like to say that our company uses this hotel for many of our employees for travel. There is a clear understanding for the deposits and the rules of the hotel. I prefer to stay somewhere they do "Sexual Offender" background checks as it ensures the safety for many of our single travel female and some male employees. You truly show your education levels with your rants and I can only assume that you were perhaps denied favors by the employee you are quick to bash.
Never once, have we ever felt robbed, misled and paid for anything we did not ask for. There are no "personal" questions asked when checking in and should you have felt it needed to discuss your occupation with the employee is your own choice as you could have simply left it a blur for the employee. As far as the drug policy of the company, the terms and conditions are very clear, should you have taken the time to read the documents you were at the desk signing. As far as the deposit's there are some elements that lose the deposit due to room damage and other reasons for which they should. It only effects the rising cost of the hotels as a whole. I hardly doubt they asked a "million" questions and have to wonder if you can count that high. Perhaps sleeping in the car in -30 degree weather was the wrong choice for you as you indicate the business you are in appears to be very lucrative and you could have easily afforded motel 6. Did you not know the TV didn't work on the first night, it should have been reported and if not fixed called customer service for assistance. Pimped out is not a description that I would look for in a review of a place to stay and you have to realize breakfast is added into your rates whether or not you take advantage of the service as is a gym and pool.
I would consider thinking about your reviews before ranting in the future. My partner and I (Gay) own a company that uses about 250 weeks a year with these hotels and they have NEVER once made us feel uncomfortable in any way and we have never questioned the financials with them. LH

YOU STAYED THERE 1 WEEK????

Holy crap - YOU STAYED THERE ONE WEEK????
I would'nt have stayed there one night after what you described!!!
You do seem to show a bizarre fascination with the night managers perceived sexual orientation.
You claim that "he's busy hanging out in his upstairs quarters giving out bl*wjobs to every f*gget (SIC) that answers his advertisement on craigslist.
Please tell us, how do you know this? Hmmmm...
You call him a "rude a** gay manager".
Later you describe him as a "f*gget (SIC) night manager".
If the manager was a Latino would you call him a b*aner?
I fully understand that you had a difficult experience at this motel but you could have moved out and gone to the other "hotel" that you mentioned at the close of your post.
Hurling juvenile insults at someone makes you sound like a cretin and a homophobe.
