I just dont understand these dealers in Arizona.   Especially the Vantuyl dealerships that continue to try and completely and royally screw people over in the service department.  Its just unbelievable how they s****.> This story happens to deal with Van Chevrolet and all the people mentioned above.  My wife and I just bought a 2007 Cadillac Escalade.  I wanted to take it to Van Chevrolet to have it inspected and then have some warranty work done.  Turns out that I needed rear brake pads.  Keep in mind that my relationship with Van Chevrolet didnt start off very well about a year
ago.  I caught them in numerous lies when I first took one of our escalades there. 
They didnt do certain work like the alignment, they didnt change fluids like they said they did etc.  I completely lost it when they didnt do the work the first time and had another dealer catch them in the act.  Van Chevrolet did correct the problems the first time though so I thought I could trust them.  Well I was wrong once again.

I took the vehicle to them to have the rear brake pads, alignment, and brake flush done.  Keep in mind that I wanted to have OEM Cadillac Brake Pads put on as well.  I even gave them the invoice from the dealer in Tempe where I wanted them to get them from.  I was getting cost plus 10 percent on these pads.  Instead they ended up putting the cheapest Non Ceramic pads on there.

First of all they didnt even do the alignment.  The Tow adjustment was completely off.  Then I took it to another dealer and they said the brake flush had not been done either.  The fluid was pretty dark and it was pretty evident.  Then our brake pads were squeaking every time we came to a stop.  It was the worst noise I had ever heard.  We have 10 cars so I know cars pretty good.  I also know when something is not acting right on a car. 
So I decided to take it to Just Brakes in Mesa, AZ who have lifetime warranty on the PADS.  I decided I was going to video Tape the whole process which I will be putting up on my UTube very shortly.  I will attach a link at a later date. 

So when they took the brake pads off it was discovered right off that they never took the rotors off and machined the rotors.  How do we know this?  The factory clips had never been removed.  When we did remove them there was fresh rust behind them.  The video will clearly show this and the rotors never been turned.  Then they took the hardware off and discovered
the Guide Pin and the ears on the pads were completely DRY!  This is very bad.  The guide pin should have been greased a
little bit along with the ends of the brake pads called the ears to Stop and prevent squeaking.  Not turning the
rotors is just completely lazy and a huge mistake as well.  I have all of this on video.  Then we took the front wheels off and it was discovered that my fronts needed to be replaced.  Van Chevrolet gave me no 24 point inspection sheet to let me know this.  Then we put the vehicle up on the alignment rack and it was discovered by Just Brakes in Mesa, AZ that the Tow adjustment was severely off.   Van Chevrolet did not even do the alignment but gladly charged me for it. 

If I never would have taken my vehicle to Just Brakes for a second opinion and third opinion I would have never known.

Yes people, I am telling you to start taking your car to another source just to make sure you car or truck or RV or Boat is actually getting the work done that you paid for.  It has now come to this in this world.  Its sad to say but you just cant trust VAN Chevrolet and most of these dealerships.  Even if you do trust them take them to a shop like Just Brakes that will let you watch them do all the work.  They will show you talk to you and let you watch them do the work.  These dealers are over charging, not doing the work and laughing all the way to the bank.  If this happens to you make sure you pay with your AMEX and dispute the charge or dispute it with your VISA and then complain to your State Attorney General and the BBB.  Go to the news, radio and anybody else that will listen.  The news gets heavily paid advertising money from these dealerships so the news and radio at least in Arizona probably wont do anything for you. 
But the AG and the BBB will.  Dont let these people just walk all over you.  Dispute and then take them to Small Claims court.  Take your car to Just Brakes or another shop to make sure the work has been done and video tape it.  I know it sounds like a lot of work but I am just warning people about the Van Chevrolets out there.  Dont trust this dealership or any VanTuyl Dealership in the Valley.  They are all Crooks!  Make sure you give them a BAD Survey or Review on www.dealerrater.com if they do a terrible job.  They all cant stand this.

Again, I am just warning everybody in the Valley in Phoenix, AZ.  VAN Chevrolet Not to be Trusted!

Looks like I am not the only one these days to have a dealership be crooked in using USED Parts or NOT doing the work at all.))LOL

 

Check out this site over a dealer using Used Parts on Mr. Wangs car.

Oh yeah as far as these idiots saying that I falsely accuse them....BOO h*o.  Anybody that knows me clearly knows that I do not falsely accuse people and that if I am wrong I don't push the issue and I always apologize first and right away.  I have clear video and documentation of these folks and that they did not do the work properly and some of it not at all.  These guys want to try and tarnish my name and reputation and on more than one occasion threatened me and threatened harm to my family and threatened me to NEVER again work in the auto industry.  Pretty sad actually.  I am not afraid though because I know I am protected by a higher power.  He has always blessed my family.  These guys are PUKES!  They prey on WEAK people.  I am not WEAK and nor will I put up with their threats etc.  Anybody that wants to know the real story can get a hold of me and I will be more than happy to show the videos.  Also, if I have ever defamed somebody on purpose or falsely accused somebody then how come I have NEVER been sued over it.))LOL  Ya, umm they are PUKES!!  They know that if they tried to sue me they would get CRUSHED in court and laughed at.  I welcome them to sue me.  That way I can show these videos in court to a Judge.  So lets go Van Chevrolet.  I am waiting for your attorney.  In fact Shawn McEniry said that I would be hearing from his attorney??  Well I am still waiting big boy.  Don't talk about it beotch.  Be About it.  Of course Shawn has little mans syndrome so it doesn't surprise me that he is all talk.  Lets go Chuck Mullins.  Why don't you call me if you think I am wrong???))LOL 

Don't listen to this General Manager folks.  He hides behind a lot of people.  He is old as dirt though and they will soon bring in a new GM to run this place into the ground.

Nitwit huh???  Ok well read this then Nitwit!!))LOL

Listen people... Don't take my word for any of my bad experiences with these PUKE dealers.  Just go the BBB website and read the complaints below.  How this company has such a good rating is unreal)LOL  I guess money will buy you anything.  I will make it my mission to make sure everybody knows how terrible this dealership is.  I am not done either.  So if anybody else wants to call me another name then I will keep posting.  So are you done??LOL  Who is the Nitwit now.  The more you piss me off the more I divulge about your piss poor operation.  Keep it up and keep it coming.  I am waiting.))LOL

HORRIBLE!! I bought a car and have had problems ever since!
this car buying experience has been the worst experience ever! The car
salesmen are very rude and treat as if your just a commission. I just do
not understand how this business could treat customers this way.The
manager called me to" try to help me" and was arguing with me, Making
this situation even harder! please stay far away!

Buyers beware! I called on a specific car and was told by
Anthony that they still had it on their lot. I informed them I was
coming down to see the car. When I got there, three different people
had to help us and every time we asked about the specific car we were
given a vague answer. At one point, one of the salesman said they do
have it and that he just confimed it. Finally, after an hour, Athony
came out to come show us the car which was supposedly at a sister
dealership down the street. When we got there, he told us these are
cars that have NOT been inspected by the mechanics. He went around
showing us all these cars and not one of them was the one we called
about. I told them several times, I was interested in a specific car
and it went in one ear and out the other. Anthony actually went to the
lot again to bring a car back for me to test drive that I had no
interest in. I just walked out. This is the second time that this
dealership has told me they have a specific car and when I get there it
is not there.

Bought a used car from them, that was "said" to have been
inspected, but in less than 3,000 miles of ownership the front brakes
are completely used up. They apparently dont mind selling cars at a
premium that are lacking vital safety equipment! If safety matters to
you, or your family, shop elsewhere!!

My negative experience started after I bought a used Chevy
from them. Their inspection, highly praised by the sales guy, must have
been done with blindfolds as the car had tons of problems (2 years old).
They claimed that the deductible on their aftermarket warranty is waived
if I bring the car into their shop. Naturally this wasn't true.
There was noise from the front end I paid for and 3 months later it came
up again. Car is currently at Thorobred Chevrolet (I can highly
recommend!) and they have to replace the exact same parts Van installed
as they screwed up the installation.
My recommendation: avoid this place! Even if your car fails next door
have it towed somewhere else.

You might want to check the website out fella. After reviewing the cases on there only 2 people have won any sort of judgement against the dealership. Most of the complaints were dismissed or the dealership was the instigator of the lawsuit. If you had a bad experience with them before why go back? I tend to believe the person who rebutted your OP. Honestly you sound like a nitwit.

Again, PLEASE Don't take my word for it))LOL  Go to this Maricopa county Website and punch up ALL THESE Lawsuits against them.  Obviously they are just trying to slander me.  I have NO Lawsuits against me))LOL  I have NEVER HAD a complaint against me by ANY STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL!!))LOL  You should see how many complaints they have had against the Arizona State Attorney General!!!  Terrible!!!

I don't know how they have such a good rating on the BBB.  Well I do as a matter of fact.  You can pay the BBB money to get that rating.  They have 60 complaints and 6 are still not resolved.

Don't take my word for it.  Do you research and again please DO NOT EVER Go to this Dealership.  Again, this is the Second time I have caught them not doing work.  They responded against me because they are spinning their wheels trying to protect their reputation.  They have already threatened me with their attorneys as well.))LOL  I have Text messages from their employees calling me a coward because I won't take their calls and won't talk to them.  Thats what they do though.  They try and intimidate you, threaten you and bully you.  They accuse me of being on drugs and having to medicate myself etc.))LOL  Anybody that knows me knows this is a FARCE!  I just don't stand for CROOKS!!!  I stand up for the people that otherwise wouldn't expose these CROOKS!!

Again, do your homework and don't take my word for it.  Go the Maricopa County website and look up all the Court Cases against them and then go down to the court if your bored and look at all the cases in detail.  Heck you can even punch in the name of an employee to see if they have any cases against them. 

WARNING!!  WARNING!!  AGain, do not take my word for it.  Do your homework and call me if you are the news or newspaper or anybody that wants to know how much profit are in the Vantuyl warranties, Gap Insurance, ZacTek, Parts, Service, GuidePoint, Maintenance packages etc.  I will tell you all if you want.  Call me to discuss Just Brakes and how good they are.  DONT EVER take your call to a dealer for service if you don't have to.  There are some good dealers in town.  Just very few though.  I can tell you about those as well.  (((ROR redacted))).  Again call to discuss so you don't get taken advantage of.  Buying a warranty on a car is a great thing by the way.  I swear by them.  I have them on all my cars and all my tires through discount tires.  However buying the VanTuyl warranty the MPP is terrible!!!  If you have one of these third party warranties I would suggest you cancel it ASAP!
