Vanderbilt Mortgage & Finance COMPANY CLAIMS I OWE THEM MONEY FOR INSURANCE YEAR 2004 ALSO WANTED ELECTRONIC PAYMENT AFTER THEY CASHED CHECK MAILED FOR MONTH OF JULY 2007 ripoff CINCINNATI Ohio

Since Vanderbilt bought my motgage from Merrit in 2004 I have been harassed by phone. at the beggining Vanderbilt was claiming that I was behind on two payments. after I submitted proof of those payments I received a payment booklet with the due date changed from the 23rd to the first without prior notification.vanderbilt them claim that I had no insurance on my property therefore they purchase a policy for me.

I send them a letter with proof of insurance they them send a form to be filled out for reimbursement from the insurance company. Vadenbilt did not contact me again until this year when they again changed payment dates back to the 23rd. at this tme the nasty phone calls started again claiming I was behind on payments for April and May of 2004.

Again I provided verification that those payments were made. they switch tactics and claim I owed them 450.00 insurance cost for 2004.I requested this in writing and never got it. in the mean time I made and aggreement to pay 30.00 per month for this bill.Although I made this arragement with them the nasty phone calls have not stop. sometimes two times per day.

this week I received a call from vanderbilt claiming I was behind on the payment for July. I called them back with proof. they still claim the check was not received so they requested a electronic payment over the phone.after I hung up the phone I called the bank and the original check have been cashed by Vanderbilt the previous day.
