Was approached by a friend about this great business opportunity...Vemma. Told me about how it was so awesome, you don't even have to sell anything! And his buddy makes 6 figures and got a bmw from the company. I asked a bunch of questions, about quotas and such and was generally skeptical. So this guy calls me, calls me a bro a bunch of times, i asked him if it was MLM, he said no it was multi-level volume...whatever that means. This guy continues to harrass me after our phone conversation. Called me confused, ignorant, and a dumbass all because I didn't buy in.
Overall, I was given no statistics, no information about quotas...they kept saying they filled out W-9s so it had to be legitimate.
Clearly something you should stay away from...

Great job including the text screen shots.........seems a little odd that this Vemma rep - who claims to have a master's degree - can't articulate himself clearly, nor spell all that well. I had the same experience with the Vemma rep who tried to sucker me in, too. Her name is Elizabeth (goes by 'Lizzie') Igwe. Her emails and text messages were riddled with typos.
Clearly, they're not an intelligent bunch.
Good for you for reporting this Vemma scam on RipOffReport! You can read mine (from Los Angeles, dated 8/28/13) if you'd like.
We are among the fortunate ones who managed to avoid this scam. Vemma is nothing short of a pyramid scheme and their president (BK Boreyko) is a crook. Do some digging about him online. You'll be surprised (or maybe not?) by what you find.
