Venture Custom Pools Took final payment and basically disappeared. Poor communication. Plano Texas

Every step of the pool building prcess with this company has been screwed up in one way or another. Since they are not returning my calls or emails I am posting reviews of my expereince in the hopes that they might decide to call me. 

We signed a contract for the pool on May 1. I was told by the salesperson and the multiple people in the contstruction department that I would have my pool by July 4th. It is now July 5th and of course my pool is far from completed. They were unable to do gunite for 2 weeks because of failed inspections. 2x they failed inspection for absurdly simple reasons, for example placing the sign in the wrong location. 

When they finally did spray gunite, it was not done to the design we had and had to be redone. On the first day I told the project manager we wanted a quote to extend the retaining wall so that water would not run into the pool. I have made this request multiple times since then and never recieved that quote.

Tile work was done last week. There is an area that is very poorly done. The tile is wavy and not straight. I called to inform them of the problem was told the project manager would look at it. He has not coe out. 

Last Friday I was told that if I made final payment early they would be able to clean up, rerout our sprinklers and get the plaster permit this week. I gave them a check last Friday and it was cashed Monday. None of these things have been done this week. I was told by the office that their sub contracter was not returning calls. Quite frankly, this is not my problem. On Wednesday I was told clean up would still happen today or tomorrow but when I called today I found the office closed. Not sure why they are closed on July 5th, but they certainly should have told me when I asked if they would be cleaning today. 

I have been patient to this point but am now extremely angry. Another delay is simply unacceptable. That I cannot get in touch with someone is unacceptable. Although technically they have not violated any aspect of the contract, the project has been exceptionally poorly managed and I would not recomend this company to anyone. There are many fine poor builders in the DFW area. This is not one of them.
