Last month I recieved a bill from Verizon stating that I was a month behind on my cell phone bill which I knew that I wasn't. I called customer service and the rep. said that "yes, I was a month behind". The check I wrote was cashed by Verizon and told them so, the check #, and the date that funds were transferred. The rep. said she found the mistake and told me the proper amount that I owed which I mailed out the same day. This month I recieve a phone call from Verizon stating that I'm late again and recieve a double billing again. I call them and state that I am not late and have the check#, dates funds were transferred for every month going back to the start of service so I know I'm not late. They say they don't show anything paid and want a copy of the cancelled check. Well, they do an electronic funds transfer and THEY destroy the check, so they know that I can't get a copy of the cancelled check. I fax them a copy of my bank statement showing that they transferred funds out of my account and they said that they will look into it and get back with me. Finally they call back and say they did recieve payment but but the bill is correct even though I paid them every month on time. They screwed me for $196.11 All they give you is a bunch of B.S. double talk and try to make you feel stupid, which I do for ever doing business with such a low life, scum sucking outfit. A co-worker has had the same experience as myself also so this must be a new scam they have going on. I always pay my bills the same day that they come, never late. So I just paid these corporate thiefs off because it wasn't worth the headache and grief these professional con men were causing me. Their cell phone service sucks anyhow. I'm going to pay their extortion fee to get out of their s**+**y service and go to ATT which works much better here in W.Washington anyhow. I hope this helps keep someone else from signing up with these crooks and their crappy service.
