A coupe of months ago I began using the 3G Broadband usb card for home internet. Although it is stated to be 3G it appears to be much less and even dsl would be better than this. Each time I need to top up my account for another month of internet there is always problems.
Even when I actually get into my account to top up, it does not automatically show the full approval with the forthcoming next due date to top up. Today I had a heck of a time trying to get it to take the phone number and pin associated with the account, and when I did mystically get into it I still met with futility as I tried to do it.
Nothing whatsoever from Virgin Mobile is of good quality and service. The mobile internet is slow and leaves much to be desired, and even their phones (all of them, by the way!) do NOT work well. So I cannot get online save for this wifi I am using presently, and getting to any resemblance to a human being is always a tooth-and-nail agony to wrangle with. No doubt.
Even when it's time to put the usb card in to get online, the thing (or dongle as some say) does not respond well at times. Each time I plug it in there's a need to load the software in it again, and just as you are doing something online (like a job application) it cuts out on you though you have not touched it at all!
I am quite frustrated with this company and all it sells, and each product is of low quality and performance. I did send a message to them, but it will take days to get any answer. With this in mind I must waste my cell phone minutes to fix this as there is no way to get support online. The insult to injury is that when you call they recommend you to go online. What if you can't?
I highly advise those looking for a cell phone or usb for mobile internet to stay far away from Virgin Mobile, even though they've got a good priceline now. This is the truth, and my money lost is a testament to it. Today!
