I was referred to this company by a computer supplier's support division. I had an almost identical experience to the report written 10/22 about Virtual PC support. This company basically extorted me to buy a package costing $299.99 for a two year service contract that would be 24/7, 365 days. I finally gave in out of desperation. They also spent over an hour going through my computer checking for security breeches and making so-called changes.

I had told them that I did not need to have this done but they went ahead anyway. They made some changes that I did not request. Now when I call for help, all I get is busy signal no matter what time I call. The phone number I received, when googled, is the same for many such support companies.

I fear that they are not only a fraud, but am concerned that they had full access to my computer when they were messing around.

Upclick virtual PC

AUTHOR: Beau - ()

POSTED: Sunday, July 20, 2014

I just got off the phone with someone from Upclick that is going to call me back in 45 minutes to try and sell me a computer clean up for $350. I purchased Acrobat from them and I can't get it to download and he told me its beecause all of the issues with my computer that they can fix that he found after he logged on using log me in resque. His name was frank.

I'm not having any problems with my computer but I do have issues downloading files on my Mac because I'm not use to it like I am my windows based computers. I am writing this because I have been looking up the company to see if this is a scam or not and it sounds like after everything I have been reading that I shouldn't do busines with them. Let me know if someone else has had any similar issues more recently. The number they told me to call back at is 866.682.0647. I haven't tried yet but I assume it wil work right now because they are trying to get my business and haven't yet. At least I dont think they have unless they got something during the 2-3 minutes they were on my computer.
