The same thing happened to me. Was charged $399 for 3 yr unlimited support (went w/ this plan because Guru claimed I would save the $50 tax fee) for pc laptop & $119 for one time incident plan on my Mac on August 8, 2012. Someone named Guru Baksh supposedly runs the service & Indu was the person who worked on my machine. After two days of running scans & trying to reinstall printer software, nothing was fixed. I contacted Guru the next evening of the 2nd day, requested cancellation & full refund. He said 'no problem...someone will call you in 5-10 minutes to process your refund. To date, no call. I will keep trying to contact Guru, however, seeing this ripoff alert doesn't give me much hope. I've contacted my attorney who said taxes can't be 'waived', this is false information. Also, the welcome@vpcsupport.com is bogus as well. Please watch out!!
