Valve body is the issue and we now know it is this means the car will not shift properly and as a result this will cause excess wear on the clutch packs (as they will not engage / disengage properly) causing premature transmission shifting failure and most likely catastrophic failure as many have reported.

Simple cause and effect logic will prevail in this or any other case of the transmission failure. VW would be hard pressed not to agree with this deduction as the faulty valve body part as they have now admitted causes the car to shift harsly or incorrectly. There is no doubt then when a car does not shift correctly the end result is catastrophic irreversable transmission damage.

It is much easier to prove with their admission of part failure then for VW to disprove on their end. Plus and any mechanic should be able verify that the transmission failed as a result of this part and reach the same conclusion.

So... to reiterate VW's simple admission of valve body failure can and will lead to several other issues resulting from this single component failure which they are now going to be forced to cover. Their statement about valve body's is just a ploy to save them $.

A valve body that does not work as it should will cause a lot of other problems such as clutch plate failure because of extended shift times. So VW is not so great about fixing something that will cost them big $. A valve body problem can fry a tranny.
