When I signed up for Vonage I was willing to give them a shot to see if in fact they could provide the service they promised. Problems cropped up right from the start. The service was hard to get set up using their box.

I never recieved a good signal from vonage and this created a very poor communication signal to people I was call or was calling me. The customer service reps did not seem to understand english and you had to tell them things several times to get anywhere with them. My monthly bill was suppose to be $24 dollars a month including the $4.99 fee for the 800# that cost me every time some one called me.

I got the 800# because they did not have a number in my area code, and they gave me a number where if people called me locally it would have cost them a long distance charge. My first bill or charge on my card was $48 and some change still with no resolution to my poor phone service problem. the second bill was for $58 and some change still no phone service and it had gotten so bad by this time we were using our cell phones because vonage service was totally unuseable cause no one could understand what you were saying because of the signal breaking up.

Now after canceling all this service they are trying to charge me additional fees for disconnect and I never had phone service that worked from them. I cut them off at the pass and shut down my credit card so they could not charge this fee. I would like if anyone could start a class action suit against this company because they need to be stopped and put on notice that this kind of fraude and deciept will not be tollerated here.
