I've been in touch with the individual store (Barrow in Furness, UK), Head Office (UK) in Leeds and Wal-Mart (USA) and I've not received anything back - I wasn't even given a receipt with this 'Home Delivery' - the list above was copied directly from their web site.

Tax not an issue.

Delivery (4.50) (not 9.17) would normally apply but the order was collected from the store and I was told a delivery charge would not be applied.

The other thing I've missed out on is offers - but as I can't remember which items had offers or how much (like 2 for one) I'm ignoring those.

Is food Taxed in Britian?

If so, there's the difference right there.

If not, was there a delivery charge?

The difference is probably their delivery charge.
