I researched an embroidery machine and found that they had it at my local Walmart, I normally do not shop Walmart because there is always some hassle with doing so and my experience today proved to be no different. I decided I would give it a try and I see my advertised price on the website is 306.00 I arrive to the store and the box has been opened and the price tag on the shelf says 359.00, I ask a lady in the department if there is a mistake as the ad clearly says 359 regular price rolled back to 306., she tells me that they are redoing the aisle and it is possible the sign is not up, she calls a manager and she is told I need to buy it online and they do not honor the online ad, WHAT? It is your ad???? I call the 800 number and I am told the manager has the discretion on whether to honor the online ad, WHAT??? There is no where on this ad from your website that says the local store does not honor your advertised price. I can not imagine this is truly the practice, attract people to your store advertising one price and refusing to sell it at that price, really?

You're right. Wal mart employees do say things and criticize anyone who reports. Just ask for the time of day and they will say, don't you have eyes, it's on the clock on the wall. Southeast Colorado wall mart is the worst.
These employees need to get a life.
Some have just got out of diapers 12 years ago, and they know everything. LOL

I understand the need to defend the company who supports your family, or your unemployed and have nothing better to do with your days then to defend Wal-Mart and their bad business practices.
Ignorant, I am not.
Try looking up some items from some other online vendors like Best Buy, if it is an online price only, it says "online price only", other than that you already know the price before walking into the building, giving me the opportunity to choose the company I do business.
Let your DM make all your decisions and you will continue to work for pennies, start making your own and you could be the DM, good luck with the job.

It is possible that Walmart's executives are not receiving the same amount from the 'dead peasant life insurance policies' that they have taken out on their employees and they need to make up some of the losses from customers like yourself. Feel free to 'Google' this- WALMART WANTS YOU DEAD, and watch Dan's video on the web in order to learn more about these 'dead peasant life insurance policies'.
Good luck to you, and make sure to spread your Ripoff Report all over the web at sites like Twitter and Facebook!

You are obviously IGNORANT of the differences between a brick and mortar store and online shopping. Online can offer you a better price because of a lower overhead. The store manager ONLY has the power to do this IF it is ALLOWED by thier district manager. If he couldnt price match his own website, why didnt you just go home and buy it and have it shipped to that store? Oh, I know why. Ignorance, stubborness, and the need to b***h about something. You might also note that no where on the website does it say that Walmart DOES match its online website.
