Walt Disney DVD's Company had taken my $40.89 for 3 DVD's that i was purchasing for my grandchild and never sent the DVD's. I constantly sent emails to the company and they never replied. Decatur, Georgia

Here is exactly what happened below:

Recently I bought 3 DVDs from a company called "Walt Disney DVDs" on line. I thought I was using a very reputable company and to my dismay, I think I have been had. Please see what they sent me below. In good faith I paid them only to hope that I have these DVDs in time for Christmas 2009. Nothing showed up and I emailed Walt Disney DVDs " to ask if they were on back order or are they unavailable, please see below the answer that I had gotten. Im out $40.89 and Disney has a black eye. Im hoping to see what can be done through my lawyer but I will have to see what his advise is on this matter. If you can help, I would appreciate anything you can do.

We apologize for the delay in answering your email. Our email and website database was lost by our web host and we are in the mist of rebuilding.

We do not have access to any tracking numbers at this time so we have no way of tracking the packages. Be assured all orders were picked up and shipped as stated by the USPS. This is all we can do, the rest is up to the USPS for the delivery. This is a busy time of year and a lot of packages get lost in the Christmas rush as they do ever year, this is just a fact of life with and all the shipping companies. We do suggest on our website for all our customers to purchase USPS shipping insurance. This will insure you that the package gets delivered or the USPS will reimburse you for the merchandise shipped. This is an option we give when you check out. We do not require this purchase because so many customers complained they did not want the USPS shipping insurance and will take that risk on their own. We state on our website that we are not reasonable for any packages lost, stolen or damaged without the USPS shipping insurance purchased and stated on their order invoice we emailed. This is all detailed on our website when you place your order. If you check around this is the policy of many companies because you cannot trust the USPS or any of the shipping companies these days for on time deliveries.

We understand the tracking numbers were lost by our web host and we are working on that. Even with the tracking numbers the package would still be lost or misplaced and without the USPS shipping insurance you still are in the same situation. At this time without the USPS shipping insurance stated on your emailed invoice there is nothing more we can do. All we can do at this point is wait and see if it turns up somewhere in the USPS system and gets delivered.

We apologize for the trouble.
