When I bought my car i was very happy to know it came with a limited powertain warranty as that can be costly down the road. However I did not know this "free" warranty would require so many hoops, song and dances in order to just retain it. First you must call befor each oil change. If you callled befor 6,000 miles they told you not to go. With me driving out of town for the weeked, in which I will go over 6,000 miles that seems like very bad advice. Secondly I once called in on the 20th to tell them I was going in that week to get my oil changed. They said thats fine as long sa it was with in 4 days of that day. And that when the sh*t hit the fan.

I went in on the 23, 3 dasy after I callede in and well with the 4 day rule they told me. When I called back to let them know again I was going in they flipped on me. Then said I was over 6 months since my last oil change. True I was at 6 months and like a few day. But still only had like 4,000 miles since my last oil change (6,000 is recommended by nissian) I was quickly informed that I voided the warranty by not going in the day i last called (The 20th) and I went over 6 months so I voided the arranty also.

The person on the phone then told me to "With the information you just provided to me and i put into your records you dont need to call in any more becuase you no longer have a warranty." But the way she said it slowly like I was 4, I could almost picture a smile on her face. Then I just said "ok" kinda dumb founded. She then stated "thank for calling in and providing me with this information" and hung up, Wow if the nial wasnt deep enough, you basically told me I gave you a reason to void my warranty.

Also try googling them. Try finding them ANYWHERE on the internet. You wont find a phone number or a address for them. I only have a PO Box on the original paperwork they gave me.

Google is your friend and Warranty Forever is not!

* Better Business Bureau lists Warranty Forever (NWAN) as 88% negative reviews:  bbb.org/cleveland/business-reviews/extended-warranty-contract-service-companies/national-warranty-administration-network-llc-in-strongsville-oh-16007207

My local harley dealership sent me an email announcing the Warranty Forever program at their dealership.  I was not sure about this dealership in the first place and now I know that they are willing to use a scam program to make sales and generate more business for their service department.  I will now completely avoid this dealership.

They Blow!

I had my oil change done the day I purchased the vehicle. Even though I called ahead, I was told I had voided the warranty. Why? Because I had it changed at Valvoline and not all of the employees are ASE Certified.

The one problem I have with this Warranty Forever stuff, is that it also requires that ALL maintenance and repairs only be performed by an ASE mechanic that falls within the parameters of the Warranty Forever program.  In other words, if you do an oil change yourself, you just voided the warranty.  You make even minor repairs to any major component, you have violated the Warranty Forever.  Hardly a situation that is going to be possible to those of us in rural areas that always running to a dealer or pre-authorized facility is realistic.    Warranty Forever, when marketing this to dealers, makes it very clear this is to generate more business for their respective service departments, which are the bread and butter for a dealership. It isn't car sales, though Warranty Forever also claims having this will increase sales also.   No brainer.  I recently bought a 2013 Silverado and dealer thru in Warranty Forever.  I voided it before the pickup had 1000 miles on it.  I told the dealer this was a worthless thing to throw on the deal.  It did not motivate my purchase in any way.

Perhaps you should check your facts, and spelling

I recently purchased a vehicle that came with warranty forever, and I have a few issues with your statement above.

1. The maintenance you have to do to keep your warranty forever intact is just your recommended MANUFACTURE'S maintenance i.e. what is listed in your owners manual (the same stuff you have to do to keep your manufacture's warranty intact, from GM, Chrys, Ford, etc).

2. I have called in to pre-authorize my maintenance (which yes you have to do every time) and it is a 90 second phone call to a nice girl in Cleveland basically keeping records of where I'm going and making sure I know what needs to be done. I like this because I know I'm doing what I'm supposed to AND when some of the jerks at let's call it Riffy Rube tell me that I have to do a bunch of other obsolete items I know I exactly what needs to be done.

3. Of course they are going to put a time limit from when you call in until when you get the maintenance done. If they didn't why would you even pre-authorize? It's time sensitive.

4. If you read the contract you couldn't possibly have voided if you were just a titch over 6,000 miles or 6 months. It clearly states the longest you can go between oil changes is 6 months or 7,500 miles (which ever comes first). AND there is a one month and 1,000 miles grace period. So either you got the one person in the entire company that can't count very well or someone is fibbing just a little about when they really went in to get their service done.

5. I know this probably isn't your fault. It is probably the selling dealer's fault, which didn't explain the program to you. However, YOU DID NOT PAY FOR THIS PROGRAM. This is something that came with the vehicle. Yes it has a cost; it is NOT FREE. But at the end of the day wouldn't you want fully insured coverage for your powertrain for the entire time you own your vehicle instead of what other dealerships are offering (free tire rotations, donuts, a super special nice salesman or woman).

6. I've said my peace. I'm sorry that you feel that you got the tricked, however before you try and sully a good program for other people perhaps you should check some of the facts, and your grammar.

Sincerely,

JUSTTHEFACTS

P.S. If you google warranty forever there are multiple websites with load of information, phone numbers, addresses, etc, and then this post.
