We got to this promise maker after checking several other companies online. He everyone else on his blog and got our business. We hire him paid upfront for his services to remove our levy but he delivered nothing. Our garnishment was never lifted. Jay Freeborne did nothing other than charge us and never responded when we asked for refund.

Jay Freeborne adds insult to injury

AUTHOR: Paul - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 13, 2012

Mr. Jay Freeborne, how can you have the nerves and add insult to injury and say that this is a fake complaint?

Why dont you refund our full fee since you delivered nothing.  Your promise to release our wage garnishment ended up nowhere and you will not do the honorable thing to come clean and send us our money back. Instead you spin this with all kind of tales. Honesty and integrity Mr. Freeborne are not part of the way you operate - that we know, but making up cover stories will not get
you far as well. Clients are not stupid!

FAKE COMPLAINT THREAD CONTINUES

AUTHOR: Jay - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 13, 2012

So -- folks - this thread might keep going.  I will say again: this is  FAKE COMPLAINT.  The person above is NOT a real client.  The person will continue to harass us (likely) and indicate that I am lying.

The same person also filed a complaint at the Better Business Bureau.  The BBB did NOT process the complaint as they determined it was a FAKE.  (The client's address did NOT correspond with the location it was sent from -- among other things).

This person is an angry competitor disappointed at their treatment in my blog: taxresolutiontalk.com

Please sir:  you have achieved your goal.  Rip Off Report is NOT going to delete this complaint and we will suffer for it.

In all honesty, I did contact who I think is the competitor to see if I could perhaps portray them more fairly in my blog.  I am awaiting a call back from someone in their management of that company.

In any case: feel free to call me at 1-866-525-7302 if you want to hear my honest testimony about what we perceive as the "public relations terrorism" behind this fake complaint.

It's sad to have to respond.  Note the difference between how the BBB handled this versus Rip Off Report and you make the judgement of which is the fairer system for conflict resolution?

Jay

I just called Jay

AUTHOR: Paul - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, October 22, 2012

I just did call Jay and all he is willing to refund is 25% of my money for not doing anything. Thats not an equitable resolution Mr. Freeborne!

Its sure easy to claim that your client is lying and your competitor is not trustworthy in order to build your image. You should deliver your service when you say you will or refund the whole amount we  paid you instead of calling me names.

Just give me my money back!

Identifying the name of this client

AUTHOR: Jay - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, October 22, 2012

We at Washington Tax have no idea who this client is.  Who are you?  You don't identify yourself in this complaint.  The complaint appears to have been done in the timezone - Mountain time - yet the client says they are in Burbank, California.

If you are this client, please call me immediately at 1-866-525-7302 and we will immediately arrange a refund or some kind of resolution of this matter.

But: if our instincts are right: this is a scam. Please call us so we know that this is NOT a scam.

Jay did not deliver and kept our money.

AUTHOR: Paul - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, October 22, 2012

Jay, this is not a fake report and you know it. We spoke about my garnishment several times and you didnt do anything about it. You didnt even want to consider refunding part of the money and I told you thats not fair. You havent done what you promised to do and now you lie about my complaint.

Let it be known: Jay Freeborne of Washington Tax Services did not solve my problem.  He took our business by tarnishing everyone and promising to free my wages from garnishment.

He claimed to be honest but he is the fake one.  Jay did not deliver and kept our money! Do not trust the guy.

This FAKE and ANONYMOUS complaint was posted by a COMPETITOR

AUTHOR: Jay - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, October 21, 2012

Frankly, it is a shame to have to respond to this FAKE COMPLAINT.  If Rip Off Report had some kind of arbitration or fraud protection, we wouldn't have to write this rebuttal - they would just delete this false and anonymous complaint.   But - Rip Off Report benefits from more "eyeballs" and a complaint which tarnishes our company and my name: get hits and more views. This fabrication was likely posted by a competitor in the Mountain Time Zone - Colorado probably -- who didn't like their company's portrayal in my blog -- taxresolutiontalk.com.

Nonetheless, this is a "made-up" complaint - written also for search engine optimization - notice my name is spelled out clearly as is our company.

But let's pretend that this complaint had some shred of truth in it...

1. We have no refund request that has been sent to us currently that we haven't responded to (in fact we rarely get refund requests).  All refund requests are handled immediately as long the customer emails us or faxes us their request.

2. Wage garnishment removal?  We spend all available man-power releasing wage garnishments or bank levies for that matter until the levy/garnishment is released.  There are times when we are too late to save a bank levy.  But wage garnishments are ongoing and permanent so it's difficult to say the least to abandon a client in this situation: they let us know - it hasn't been fixed.  So this can't be true.

3. My direct number 866 525 7302 which rings to my desk is available to all of my clients.  I am not buried behind a receptionist and so all upset clients know how to reach me directly.  If this really was a client - you could call me now and we would take full responsibility for their case and discuss a refund -- but it's not a real client.  They would have called us by now.

Finally, it is painful to write this rebuttal as you might be able to tell.:)  We don't take guarding our internet reputation lightly.  You can read our responses to the 14 other internet complaints we've had in the last decade here:  http://taxresolutiontalk.blogspot.com/2009/11/32-complaints-at-bbb-and-on-internet.html
