Dish Network ought to be burnt down. They are nothing but liars and theives. My son set up an acct with them but he lived at my home. I never saw the contract until he moved out.

It is a long story and I won't go into the details except to say, "I have the contract now. I found it after he moved out. My name is at the top where it says customer but at the bottom it is signed by my son.
After he moved I tried to cancel the acct. They told me if I cancelled it, they would put a two year contract amount on my credit card. Tehy had my credit card number because several times my son would give me the cash to makeh is paymetn and I would pay it with my card. I told them if they put someting on my credit card, I would dispute it. They then told me that would be a big mistake because then I would be turned into all the major CB. Dish held this acct over my head and more or less forced me to pay it or get my credit ruined.

They told me if I would send the equipment back, they would send me an invoice showing a balance of $0 if there were in good shape. They were only used about 6 months so they were in good shape. Well it was not my repsonsiblitly to send them but I did. Then after they got htem they sent me an invoice saying I owed them $351.
I truly wish someone woujld burn down every Dish Network in exsistence or shoot everybody in the knee when they came to work so that company coujld not cheat anyone else. If every employee got shot in the knee, they could not go in and ruin someone's life everyday.
I have the contract now so how can I get this off my credit file. I had a score of 748 and today I got an alert from equifax that I had a collection against me. I about had a heart attack. I looked right away and it some place called W.C.I. I know it was Dish because of the amount.

Can anyone help me? I know I can send letters but is there a faster way. I need this off fast as I have already put in for a loan thinkikng my credit score ws still 748. I applied for that about 10:00 and two hours later I got the alert. This is going to make me look like a liar because I told them my score was 748. It was until two hours later.
Help me if can.
Thanks,
Donna

Unfortunately the various credit agencies need the dispute to be in writing. Then they have to open a file and do an investigation. The item will be frozen on your report once that happens.

This will be a lengthy battle, its not likely to get resolved quickly. The only way you would get off easy is if dish network said they were wrong.

WCI, collector for Dish, caused my score to fall from 748 to 652. Acct is not mine. I posted contract for proof

AUTHOR: Donna - (U.S.A.)

Does anyone have fax numbers to CSC, TransUnion and Experian? I need to fax my contract to all of them. I also would like a fax number to FTC.
Dish Network and W.C.I. have ruined my credit with an account that is not mind. They are nothing but liars and theives. My son set up an acct with them. He lived in my home. I never saw the contract until he moved out. I have the contract now. I posted it at giftsandgreetingsnwa.com/dish.jpg
I did not put the www in front of the web address because I do not know if it will show. I found the contract after my son moved out. My name is at the top where it says customer but at the bottom it is signed by my son. After he moved I tried to cancel the acct. They told me if I cancelled it, they would put a two year contract amount on my credit card. They had my credit card number because several times my son would give me the cash to make his payment and I would pay it with my card. I told them if they put it on my credit card, I would dispute it. They then told me that would be a big mistake because then I would be turned into all the major CB.
Dish held this acct over my head and more or less forced me to pay it by threatening to ruin my credit. I ask for the contract over and over and they would promise to send but never sent it. I had no contract to prove it was not mine until I found this one a few weeks ago.
They told me if I would send the equipment back, they would send me an invoice showing a balance of $0 if there were in good shape. They were only used about 6 months so they were in good shape. I applied for that about 10:00 and two hours later I got the alert. This is going to make me look like a liar because I told them my score was 748. It truly was that when I told them that.

Dish Network ought to be burnt down. They are nothing but liars and thieves. My son set up an acct. with them when he lived in my home. I never saw the contract until he moved out. I have the contract now. I found it after back a couple months ago. As you can see at http://www.giftsandgreetingsnwa.com/dish.jpg I NEVER signed it and had never seen it until a long time after he moved. Since I now have the contract, is there a way to fax it to all three credit bureaus? I have not gotten alerts yet from the other two but am sure I will any time. I had a score of 748 yesterday and today it is 648. I have not had a rightful collection against me EVER! I just about had a heart attack. I looked right away and it some place called W.C.I. I know it was Dish because of the amount.
He had to to try and cancel in January due to it not working half the time. They would not even talk to me until he got on the phone and gave permission. Yet now they say it is my account. After he moved back about March of 2008, they told me if I cancelled it, they would put a two year contract amount on my credit card. They had my credit card number because several times my son would give me cash to make his payment and I would pay it with my credit card. I told them if they put it on my credit card, I would dispute it. They then told me that would be a big mistake because then I would be turned into all the major CBs. Dish held this acct over my head and more or less forced me to pay it or get my credit ruined. They kept telling me they had my signature on the contract and I kept telling them to send it to me. I just could not believe that my son would forge my signature. They promised me about 7 different times that I would have it in 10 days. They lied. They never sent it. They told me if I would send the equipment back, they would send me an invoice showing a balance of $0 if they were in good shape. They were only used about 5 months so they were in good shape. Well it was not my responsibility to send them but I did. Then after they got them they sent me an invoice saying I owed them $351. They just flat a*s lied. I truly wish someone would burn down every Dish Network in exsistence or shoot everybody in the knee when they came to work so that company could not cheat anyone else. If every employee got shot in the knee, they could not go in and ruin someone's life everyday.

I know I can send letters but is there a faster way? I need this off fast as I have already put in for a loan thinking my credit score was still 748. It has not been below 725 in the last 7/8 years and now it is 652 due to DISH turning me in for an account that is not even mine. My credit is the most important thing to me, other than my family. Some would say I am obsessed with it and maybe I am but I fight tooth and nail to keep it over 725 all the time.

I am disabled and I guess for the first time, I am glad becasue if I was not, I think I would hop on a plane, fly to Colorado and shoot the head honcho right between the eyes.

I applied for my loan about 10:00 and two hours later I got the alert from Equifax. This is going to make me look like a liar because I told them my score was 748. It was. I never lied. Can anyone help me? Is there a faster way than writing a dispute letter to the bureaus?
Who is W.C.I. anyway? I never heard of them. I just know it is Dish due to the amount on my file.
I sent this as a photo but I guess I did it wrong because I don't see the photo.
Thanks in advance for your help.

First steps

AUTHOR: Ashley - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, May 08, 2009

First thing you need to do is contact all the credit bureaus and dispute the mark on your credit. That will force them to investigate the claim.

You need to contact this "WCI" immediately and sent them a letter certified mail asking for validation of the debt. They will have to mail you PROOF that you owe the money and what the money is for.

WCI Financial Services Inc 2001 152nd Avenue NE Redmond WA 98073-9729 (206) 643-3111 (206) 643-9549

WCI Financial Services Inc 2001 152nd Avenue NE Redmond WA 98052- (425) 643-3111 (425) 643-9549

Finally if YOU never signed the papers for your dish network then your contract is not valid. Your son cannot sign a contract for you, it doesn't work that way. You need to inform dish network that you did not sign this contract and never agreed to it. You should also perhaps contact a lawyer.
