Wells Fargo ripoff stealing my hard earned money Austin Texas
*Consumer Comment: OTHER PLUSES TO USING CREDIT UNIONS
*Consumer Suggestion: Credit Unions Are Better
*Consumer Comment: know all about their little fees and criminal charges they pull out of thin air to their hard working customers.
Wells Fargo NEEDS to be sued for what they have been doing !!! I have two young Daughters to feed and it is hard enough to make ends meet without having some corporation stealing from you ENRON style.
They hold my paychecks SOMETIMES and then sometimes not. So when they hold it and don't tell me I have a F load of NSF and returned check fees. Then when you call them on it they can't even explain it because it is fradulent.
From what I've been reading they are just running ruckshod all over their poor little customers. I had originally opened an account with First Interstate Bank before they were Taken over by the heartless soulless Wells fargo. Please help!!!

OTHER PLUSES TO USING CREDIT UNIONS

Service is far more personalized and more like the "home town bank" than the highly impersonal service you get from commercial banks. Even though my credit union has only three ATMS in the area, I can use any Bank of the West or Washington Mutual ATM for free. I pay a flat $3 a month, plus $1.50 after the 7th ATM withdrawal from ATMs other than the ones mentioned above.
Only downside is that some credit unions will not open a checking account if you have bad credit, even if you are not in Chexsystems. However, some will still do it if you agree to Direct Deposit.
Once you join and get established in the credit union, you get far more competitive loan rates and interest rates on savings. On one CD, I got 3.78%, compared to BOA's paltry 0.87%.

Credit Unions Are Better

I dont know anything about Wells Fargo or any bank for that matter. I have not used one in over 25 years.
One thing I would suggest, check out a Credit Union in your local area. With the easing up of restrictions on CU's almost anyone can become a member. They do have fees (much lower than banks) and restrictions and some dont offer the massave number of ATM's that a bank does but in the long run you will most likely be satisified. When you join a CU you become part owner in it. If you do change your financial institution make sure you read all the info they give you so as to fully understand how their policies on payroll check deposits may affect you. An informed consumer is a wise consumer.

I used to be a Wells Fargo customer several years ago, therefore I know all about their little fees and criminal charges they pull out of thin air to their hard working customers. WHY should you have to wait to get the money you've worked for, even after the federal government has already deducted money from just to deal with crappy banks like Wells Fargo. They will suck every penny out of you that they can. The MAIN way they make money is from account-associated fees.
I have a solution for all you people who bank with Wells Fargo. Search for all the banks in your area that offer Free Checking, compare them in detail, take all your money out of your Wells Fargo account(s) and open a new bank account elsewhere. I personally have never had any problems with US Bank, Washington Mutual, or Bank of America. If you have wells fargo credit, i strongly suggest paying it off and closing all wells fargo associated accounts. These people are criminals, they don't want to help you as a consumer, they have no interest in your personal finances, except to take whatever they can. If you've never had any problems with Wells Fargo, that's great for you, but still, just out of curiosity, try comparing a different bank. You just might benefit in the long run.
