In March 2018 I signed a contract to have WCMB to sell , install and, most importantly,  provide engineering plans to satisfy the City or Renton, Wa.  permit process. At the time I gave them the 50% deposit as required. $8298

The first set of plans they submitted generated the attached architectural review from the plans examiner (structural items 1,2,3,4,5 and 6) which was forwarded to them.  To date they have made no attempt to satisfy or give explanations for the examiners requirements.

WCMB provided the figures needed by the city to do the permit, however the basic assumptions that produced the calculations were not what was in the Unified Building code. The city required an explanation of where the basic figures were coming from.  They made no attempt to do that.  I was then told that they can’t provide engineering as promised for an asphalt lot but could if I installed a concrete foundation, (they would of course have to charge additional for it). In September ,with reservation,  I then agreed to put in a concrete foundation, I re-signed engineering paperwork for WCMB showing a concrete foundation would be provided.  (attached) .

3 months later I received a set of plans that were the same as before, figured using asphalt anchors with addition calculations (that were dismissed by the building department as useless), not plans based on a concrete foundation building. The email from Adriana at WCMB when questioned simply restated that there would have to be a concrete foundation, curiously now due to a fire wall which had already been addressed rather than any of the structural issues.

Already having doubts as the capabilities of WCMB I requested that they refund the entire down payment due to their inability to satisfy the contract in a timely manner.

To date since requesting the refund on 12/20/18 I have not heard from them other than a return email from Adriana at the WCMB office,  Where she stated that she was sure she turned the request in.
