 I purchased a turn key 383 stroker engine. I paid an extra256.00 for cranking the motor. Adjusting the valves and stud girdles. When I received the engine it had never been started it had no oil ever been in the engine. No starter, distributor or spark plugs has ever been in the heads. We had to chase the threads in the heads in order to start the spark plugs. It never had an oil fitting adapter attached to the motor. The mini torque starter was made in tiawan. The flex plate was made in Mexico. Those 2 parts went bad before it even started had to replace with American made flex plate and starter from summit 279.00 worth. The valves were never adjusted they rattled so bad when we started the engine we shut it off immediately and called Jim. He said to run it and the engine wouldn't run. We adjusted the valves 4 different ways the lifters were bad they were 3 good ones 13 bad ones after we broke engine down again. Replaced the lifters 413.00. Finally got engine running and had water in the oil Water pump leaking had to replace water pump 109.00 from summit. The head bolts were pioneer and made in China. Heads never sealed water went straight into oil had to tear motor down again and the heads are now in the machine shop. The heads were 7,000ths unlevel will have to cut down 10,000ths don't know the price yet. The machine guy said valve seals are cheapest made on the seals. All I can say about this company is they lied to us all the parts we've encountered were not American made and the extra money paid for services for not rendered. I will never recommend this company to anyone I will warn them. Can't get Ebay to take them off
