Where should I start. My family and I went to Westgate with the intention of having a good time and unfortunately got the opposite. We waited to check in in a 2 hour line and then told our room would not be ready for another 5 hours after the original check-in because " if was dirty". We then we're told there is a deposit to be placed on the room for damages...well that's fine and all but after speaking with a customer service individual were told there was no deposit. I then went on to cancel the reservation because I refused to pay for something I was told didn't exist. I then had a hard time getting my money refunded by this company as I booked through a third party. Well I called everyday for a week and was told everything from I didn't exist to " oh I see you here we are just waiting on the other company". I then spoke to a manager named Micheal...Micheal promised me the money would be refunded and to call him as soon as I spoke to the third party, he also stated he was the only Micheal the Manager.I then called Micheal back to tell him the third party was still waiting on him. Micheal states he is unsure if it was him I talked to as there were many Micheals who work there ( wait I thought he was the only one). Again he says he will fix this. I then call again to be told that no Micheal works there at all!!! The third party also let me know they lied to them also about this mysterious Micheal. The third party went ahead and refunded my money like a real company would..as they sit and wait for Micheal to answer there calls also. I then conatcted the customer service to ask them why they are lying to there customers to be told " what is it you want us to do!" The customer service is that worst I have ever seen in my life and I don't trust this company at all. They are holding other peoples money. I am irrate about how I was treated and lied to with no explanation. My next step is channel 6 news in Orlando.
