WhiteSmoke Inc - Useless piece of software - Plain rip-off Wilmington Delaware

I landed on WhiteSmoke.com, when I was browsing for some English writing styles. The advertisement on their website for this software tempted me very much. Unfortunately I happened to hit few positive reviews about this software and decided to buy this on a 50% deal!

I was very happy after purchase that I own something that would help me correct and enhance me on business, legal, bio-medical styles of English writing, just for $137.99. After using it for few minutes and doing some basic software functionality testing, I realized that how dumb I was to buy this program without doing a proper research.

I do have professional version of office 2007 installed in my laptop and I really regretted for having bought this software. The worst part was the software that was supposed to correct the English grammar and enhance the writing style per the option you choose, didn't not even detect some sense less sentences. I would expect the software to detect and correct if I am writing a romantic note on a legal style of writing.

After buying this software I realized that their website did not have a contact phone number or a good customer support section, which is an obvious symptom of a fraudulent business practice. As other rip-off reports say, they don't contact you over phone or email after emailing an auto generated customer ticket. The content of the auto generated email is also not relevant to my context - refund.

It looks like it is an one man company and no one is there for other business functions. The telephone number that you get on your credit card transaction for the purchase of WhiteSmoke is non-functional. I am cautioning those who think about buying this software program. (((competitor's name redacted))) is good and sufficient and is in no way comparable to this program.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
