Wholesale Merchant Processing Lied, cheated, stole! Beaverton Oregon

WMP was our credit card processor without any problems until early 2015.  After working with them with good results for 3 years we were contact by someone who said they were from WMP but turned out to be from Northern Leasing, working through WMP.

This person lied to us telling us they were sending us a new credit card terminal which would save us money and would have a representative arrive the same day as the equipment to go over everything.  Machine arrived - rep did not.  Instead we got a phone call telling us we needed to change out the machines and send the old one back because it was no longer being supported.  When questioned they said nothing had changed in our agreement with WMP (still without identifying themselves as anything to do with Northern Leasing - only WMP) and they would email an agreement showing the new serial number and that was all it was for.  The emailrf 'agreement' was not legible - very,very tiny print and would not enlarge or save anywhere on our computers.  The person said he would put one in the mail and that was that.  

Having worked with WMP for so long we were too trusting.  The cotract arrived showing a 50 month "rental contract" that costs nearly $10,000 over the term for equipment we could purchase for maybe $200.  This contract has large type at the top of the first page that was definitely NOT on what was emailed to us.  That, at least, was so large it would have been noticeable and certainly a red flag.  

This is theft, clear and simple.  If someone has a class action suit against them we would happily join.
