I placed an order for a portable laser on July 8, 2010. The product was advertised as in stock and immediately shipping. The laser was reviewed on CNET, Wired, Gizmodo, The New York Post, and The Wall Street Journal. I was certain this was a reputable company considering all of the high-profile press it was getting. Unfortunately, I have received no laser, and only received one email on August 18, 2010:

Dear James, I am pleased to announce that G2 Arctic lasers have commenced shipment. Customers will begin receiving their G2 Arctic lasers in the order they have ordered it. I again apologize to customers for the delays. We've learned a lot of lessons on how to expand manufacturing and we promise we won't disappoint in the future. I would like to make this up to our customers by continuing to utilize laser technology to achieve revolutionary products. If you've known us before you've seen how much we've already changed the laser world and we are just getting started. I appreciate all the customers who have patiently waited for their orders and look forward to serving you again soon. Best, Steve Liu CEO 555 Fahuazhen Road, Floor 14-15 Shanghai, China Post Code: 200052

I have been unable to get any details on my shipment and no one answers emails or phones. I have started posting the following at all sites:

Wicked Lasers: Today is August 24. I continue to have neither shipment update or refund of my money. THIS IS UNNACCEPTABLE!!!!!. I want a shipment confirmation or my money immediately refunded. I have been quite patient. I will be taking legal action if I do not receive PROMPT attention and resolution. Thank You, James Frizzell __________________________________________________________________________ I have begun posting this information at all blogs and corporate sites. I am not taking this treatment any longer. Refund my money or ship my purchased item TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ___________________________________________________________________________ Since I cannot get any response from anyone at this company (email, phone, open tickets, all are ignored!), I have made multiple posts to CNET, Facebook, Gizmodo, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Wired, and anyplace else that has facilitated your criminal behavior. You are running a fraudulent business, collecting money for and selling product you do not have. You have falsely advertised immediate shipment of in-stock merchandise, and yet still send out emails stating quite the opposite case. I am appalled and amazed at the poor business ethics and total lack of customer care exhibited by Wicked Lasers. I know the American companies listed above know better than to conduct business in this fraudulent manner, even if Wicked Lasers is trying to claim international business ignorance. I am also mailing a copy of this transaction history to my state and federal representatives. Since you are engaging in fraudulent international transaction, wire and bank fraud, Interpol needs to get involved as well. Your total lack of response has extended to MANY customers. The paper trail tied to the international bank and wire fraud will not be difficult to prove. Wicked Lasers obviously has absolutely no proof of shipping product, short of false buyer videos and obvious fake posts on social networks. These alone serve to incriminate your sorry business practices.

These people did not have the product they listed and have not tried to offer customers anything in the way of explanation or consolation for waiting. Checking the company Facebook site reveals many are being ripped off. I have demanded my product be shipped immediately or my money refunded, yet neither has happened.

9 Months later, still no product

AUTHOR: JBFree - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 14, 2012

Wicked Lasers,

I received an update from Rip-off.com that you have now begun shipping lasers. I paid this attached invoice ( WickedLasers.com: Your Order - 57856) and never received the funds back or the laser I purchased. After months and months of waiting, I finally got an email notice that the money was supposedly returned, but it never was.

I believe you owe thousands of people an apology and merchandise. I dont believe anyone in this country is going to believe you are doing honest business by rebutting bad reports 9 months after the fact. If you have my order and are shipping it, I would appreciate it.

If you are going to offer further excuses for not already having shipped it, then I dont think this is work anyones time. While greatly hyped, the laser is worthless if customers never receive their products. And your poor customer service doesn't warrant any goodwill.

I have my original invoice along with copies of every emaill I sent. I also have copies of the three replies I received over the course of this fiasco. I still have never seen the laser I ordered, though, and I sincerely doubt I ever will.

My advise to perspective customers remains unchanged; do not order anything from this company. I will continue to offer this advise until I see the product I ordered and paid for.

Regards,

James Frizzell

We have thousands of lasers in stock now

AUTHOR: Joe N. - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 14, 2012

Hello,

We are sorry that you ordered during a time period when we were overwhelmed with orders. We had many in stock but were not ready to receive thousands upon thousands of orders in such a short time frame.
Also, we felt that the addition of the extra safety features on some models was a good idea even though it's took us longer to manufacture the final product. Therefore we fell further behind, but for a safer and a much better product. We were correct with knowing that the customers would understand and appreciate the trade off between late orders verses a superior product.
Apparently you were frustrated with the extra time needed to do this and we are sorry about that.
Now we have hundreds of each model in stock and they ship immediately. Customers get their order in 4 days to 3 weeks or sooner.
