Williams, Cohen & Gray Failed to pay for the collections they made for me Houston, Texas

I contacted Williams, Cohen & Gray to make collections for my company. They were very polite and responded quickly at first. After they made one of the two (the bigger one) I had a very hard time getting ahold of anyone. I was told that the money had to be held for 30 day and then a check would be sent to me. After the 30 days was up I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone beyond the front desk (who just sent me to differnt voicemails.

Finaly I spoke with someone who gave me an email address and was told that they would respond that way quicker. This is the responce I got.



"we are closing our doors, Unfortunately my medical condition will not allow me to continue.This has been a long road,  I sat at the head of a company for 10 years, which reached its peak, some 4 years ago.   The current economic climate as well as my own medical conditions, have forced us

to reduce our workforce to a few people,   We have  as a company have operated in the red thru this recession,  My own income for last year was 1/3 what it was 4 years ago.   I have retained a bankruptcy attorney named Arne Ray in Houston Texas, who will be handling the liquidation of the company

in an attempt to  satisfy the  debt load.  We are retaining a few people and , are planning a work around , but I would not feel comfortable in saying that is going to happen,"

It has been 21 days since the end of the 30 days that they told me they would mail my check. I still have not heard for them.
