WLI Reservation Rewards Unauthorized sign up & billing Norwalk, Connecticut

I placed an order for a knitting book on-line with a company. They used a third party site for billing, ccnow.com. I got my order and thought nothing more about it. Then I noticed that I was getting a $7 charge on my credit card every month. I did not sign up for their "service" and certainly did not authorize them to charge me for it. I was just getting a knitting book, not signing up for a monthly, on-going, lifelong commitment to hand them $7 each month! I called them this morning and DEMANDED a full refund. The Customer Service Rep gave me "It's not our policy to issue full refunds...." blah, blah, blah.

I told her that she WOULD do so and that I expected the money refunded IMMEDIATELY! She then said it would be 3-5 business days before it would be refunded. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!! I emailed the CT attorney general's office, cc'd Reservation Rewards and blind cc'd myself. I will keep on them until I get my money back. THIS IS ILLEGAL, IMMORAL AND HAS TO BE STOPPED! This sort of parasitic activity will shut down e-commerce if the legal system does not smash them down and do so swiftly and with a vengence! Thanks for letting me vent!
