WLI*ReservationRewards.co ripoff! Charges Credit Card without your knowledge. Norwalk Connecticut

Checked my bank statement - did not recognize a $9.00 Charge from WLI*ReservationRewards.co pos. I called the company to find out how a $9.00 charge from their company got on my credit card. They said when I placed an order with Columbia House I may have hit a discount offer and then I entered my email address 2x. They told me that the email address is like my signature and legally authorizes them to charge my card.

I told them that I had no intention of purchasing anything from them and they unlawfully took my credit card information from another website with out my knowledge or permission. They stated the minute I clicked on the offer and entered my email address 2x gave them permission. I told them that is wrong and that they were to close my membership account. Also, I mentioned to them that I would work with the BBB notifying them of this scam....They immediately credited all charges charged to my credit card.

When going into a website to purchase an item be careful of the discount offers (ie. $10.00 off) - this is where this company attaches their website too. They take your credit card information without your knowledge and charge a monthly fee. If this should happen call the company immediately...They have info. on line - Recetify the situation immediately.

Hope somebody puts a stop to this soon.
